Consultations

A consultation is 100% necessary for every bride and all my clients. It will ensure that you feel happy, beautiful and confident on your special day. It will also rule out any allergies and make sure that the end result meets your expectations and hopefully beyond!

During your consultation we will discuss how you usually do your own hair (there are no right or wrong answers here, this is purely for me to gauge how you are used to seeing yourself).

We will discuss the theme of your wedding, your dress and the look you have in mind to compliment your wedding day. We will then work together, looking through any research you have done and pictures you have collected to create a style enabling you to look your best on your wedding day.

If you are not sure what style to go for then don’t worry, you are in safe hands! I can advise you during your trial as to what will enhance your best features whilst complimenting your dress, ensuring not to hide any of its beautiful detail.

Weddings Trials

Take the guess work out of finding the right bridal look for you, leave nothing to chance! The trial run is an important part of your planning and ideally done any time from 1- 4 months before your wedding day. My job is to help you design your look so that it suits you perfectly, and you feel happy and confident with the end result.

You have plenty of decisions to make when planning a wedding as it is and so you won’t need to make your mind up on the trial day itself, we can take photos of any styles we try so that you can look back and be 100% certain with your final choice. It’s a good idea to gather any images or ideas that you may like so we can build up a picture of your likes and dislikes, or if you prefer we can sit down and recommend what will suit you most.

I’d recommend allowing up to 2.5 hours for your wedding trial, this will ensure plenty of time is available for a consultation too.

Although it is recommended, there is no obligation to have a trial beforehand.  If you have a clear idea of the style that you would like or if you are happy for me to suggest a look for you, then this can be done on the wedding day itself. Additional time will be needed to allow for a consultation and to make any adjustments after if necessary.

Weddings

My priority is to offer a high quality service, tailored to your needs, as well as a friendly face to help calm the nerves on your special day. Your wedding is the most important day to you and your partner, and it will be my most important job to make sure that your hair all goes to plan. To aid the smooth running of your wedding morning I will help to plan your timings. Taking into account your other suppliers, dress and location, and this will give you and myself a guidance time to have you and your bridal party ready by. I also ensure that my timings allow me to stay on hand to assist you in the final stages of getting ready and for those precious few moments before you leave to say ‘I do’ and first appear in front of your groom and wedding guests.

RKW Hair brings the style to you and your wedding location, leaving you with nothing to worry about and plenty of time to absorb the experience and treasure your wedding morning.

I can return to a venue to change the bride’s hair for a second look in the evening; I call it an ‘aisle-to-dance floor’ service. It’s very popular with brides that have two wedding dresses for their special day, and want their hair to complement their overall look.
